Susan L. Lipson

After graduating from The University of Michigan, Susan worked briefly in publishing in New York, then settled in California, where she combined free-lance editing with teaching, forming her own creative writing workshop program, still going strong since 1997 (now taught via Zoom). She has published three books--two for kids--and prides herself on having never really "grown out of" anything that impressed her as a child, which is why she still views the world with wonder and looks for lessons in every experience. Performing poetry and songs fulfills her as much as publishing words; she loves gigs as a visiting author.
